In the field of natural science research, 116 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 21 programs of the National Key Research and Development of China have been gained. More than 490 horizontal scientific research projects have been signed with government departments, institutions or enterprises. 26 national, provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological achievements have been achieved. 556 invention patents, 17 new plant varieties protection rights, 242 copyrights of computer software are authorized, and 1,349 papers included in SCI, 278 papers included in EI, 13 papers included in ISTP have been published.

In the field of humanities and social sciences research, 18 projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China have been gained. More than 42 horizontal scientific research projects have been signed with government departments, institutions and enterprises. 5 provincial and ministerial awards for achievements in humanities and social sciences have been awarded, and 15 papers included in SSCI, 287 papers have been included in CSSCI.
