On the morning of November 7, 2018, the 2018 International Student Education Conference of HUNAU was held in the Dacheng Hall of the Library. Duan Meijuan, Vice President of HUNAU, Zhou Fangyou, Director of the International Exchange Office of the Department of Education in Hunan Province, and Zhou Longzhong, the officer of Public Security Bureau of Furong District, Mo Yousheng and Jiang Tieping, police officers from the East Lake Police Station, and relevant departments of the university attended the meeting. More than 100 international students attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Rao Liqun, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Division. 

Vice President Duan Meijuan first thanked all the guests for their arrival and warmly welcomed the students to HUNAU. She gave a general introduction of HUNAU briefly and the efforts done to international student education. She stressed that more attention will be paid to the education, management and service of the international student. 

Zhou Fangyou fully affirmed the achievements of HUNAU in international students’ education in recent years, and hoped a better job on the structure, scale and connotation of international student education in HUNAU. She expressed her appreciation to the international students for their choice of studying in HUNAU and expected them to be a friendship ambassador between the home country and China. 

Kangler, an international student representative from Laos, said that he would cherish the opportunity to come to HUNAU to study and he would study hard. Also he expressed his will to spread Chinese culture and promote the friendship between the two countries.

Zhou Longzhong conducted publicity on foreign students’ laws and regulations to the audience. And some other staff of the International Student Exchange Management Division of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office explained publicity the rules and regulations on international students of HUNAU.
