Resume |
Since 1993 he has been engaged in hybrid rice breeding. In 1998, he began to pursue a Ph.D. in Crop Genetics and Breeding at Hunan Agricultural University and a Ph.D. in Agriculture in 2002. |

Main Awards |
In 2001, he won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. In 1990 and 2000, he won one second prize of Hunan Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2014, he won one first prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award. The rice dual-purpose genic male sterile line Kang 201S, the two-line hybrid rice combination Y Liangyou 599, the dual-purpose nuclear sterile line Long S, Ziyou 072, the dual-purpose nuclear sterile line Feng S and Long Liangyou 031 respectively It was approved by the Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2001, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Zhongfeng S1 and Zhongfeng S2 were approved by Hainan Province in 2017. The 391S and 461S have been appraised by Anhui Province in 2017. Among the applications of 23 new varieties of plant protection, 6 varieties are have been authorized. |
