Resume

Xiao received his PhD in Botany in 1994 from Hunan Agricultural University, China. He worked as a post doctoral fellow from 1995-1998 at the University of California at Riverside, USA.

Projects

Xiao has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects at the national or provincial level, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.  he has extensive experience in the field plant growth and development phytohormones and plant growth regulators.

(1) Study on single cell level,in-situ and real time determination method for strigolactones based on D53/SMAX1(31570372, National Natural Science Foundation of China)

(4) Study on highly sensitive in situ real-time assay for phytohormones based on biosensors(90817101, National Natural Science Foundation of China,2009.1-2012.12)
