Resume

In June 2004, Professor Liu hui graduated from school of economics and management of Hunan Agricultural University with a master's degree in management and obtained a doctor's degree in management at the same university in June 2009. In 2016, he achieved his post-doctorate from Theoretical Economics Postdoctoral Station of Shandong University. Since July 2004, he has been working in School of Economics of Hunan Agricultural University. In December 2015, he was promoted as professor and then in 2006, he served as the deputy director of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry Economic Management. He served as the head of the Department of Economics in 2011. In 2017, he started to serve as the deputy director of the "Agriculture, Rural areas and Farmers" Research Base of Hunan Province and the Rural Development Research Base of Hunan Province.

He has presided over 1 project with National Social Science Fund, 1 Chinese Postdoctoral funded project, 1 Humanities and Social Science funded project of the Ministry of Education, 3 projects backed by Social Science Funds of Hunan Province, and 1 project with Natural Science Fund of Hunan Province.

Papers and Works

More than 60 academic articles published in journals such as China Rural Survey, Agricultural Economic Issues, Science of Science and Management of S&T and Institutional Economics with more than 20 CSSCI articles. 4 monographs and 4 books published.

Main Awards

1 second prize of Hunan Social Science Achievement in 2015, the first prize and the third prize of Philosophy and Social Science Achievement in Hunan Agricultural University in 2010 and 2016 respectively. In 2012, at the invitation of the Timor-Leste’s government, he initiated and wrote the Agricultural Development Plan for Timor-Leste and in 2013, at the invitation of the Congolese government, he initiated and wrote the development plan for the Development of Rice Industry in Congo.
