Since 1983, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research on fruit tree cultivation, fruit post-harvest storage and fresh-keeping, and the theory and technology of extracting and utilizing the effective components of fruits. In 2004, he received a doctoral degree from Hunan Agricultural University. In 2005 he worked as visiting scholar for research at the Royal Institute of Horticulture in New Zealand. | |||
