Resume	Since 1983, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research on fruit tree cultivation, fruit post-harvest storage and fresh-keeping, and the theory and technology of extracting and utilizing the effective components of fruits. In 2004, he received a doctoral degree from Hunan Agricultural University. In 2005 he worked as visiting scholar for research at the Royal Institute of Horticulture in New Zealand.
Science &Teaching Research	Projects	More than 30 scientific research projects at or above the provincial level, and also the research work on the project of "investigation of Kiwifruit resources, breeding of fine varieties and cultivation techniques" in the key scientific and technological projects of Hunan Science and Technology Commission.
	Papers and Works	29 textbooks and monographs published and more than 100 academic papers, including more than 10 SCI papers published in "Acta Horticulture", "International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition", "International Journal of Molecular Sciences" and other periodicals, and in "Journal of Horticulture", "Journal of Fruit Tree", "Journal of Food Science" and "Journal of Chinese Food Science" and other national journals.
	Main Awards	5 awards for teaching achievements above the provincial level, 1 third prize of Science and Technology Progress Awards of Hunan Province and 1 first prize of the Science and Technology Department of Hunan Province. 5 national invention patents authorized, selection and breeding of 5 new fruit tree varieties, such as "Qinxiang Kiwifruit".
