In 1983, he graduated from the Department of Mathematics, Hunan Normal University;

In 1986, he obtained Master's degree in computational mathematics, Xi’an Jiaotong University;

In 1999, he was appointed Professor;

In 2000, he obtained Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology, National Defense University of Science and Technology;

From 2007 to present, he has been working as Vice President and Doctoral Supervisor of Hunan Agricultural University.
