Resume

In 2007, he obtained Ph. D. in University of Dundee, United Kingdom, and honorary Doctor, National University of Agriculture, Ukraine. In 2011, he was elected academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and in 2012 he was elected member of Academy of Sciences of developing countries. Later he was selected as the first batch of National "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Personnel. He is currently the director of the Institute of Plant Virology of Ningbo University.

He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, such as National Key Basic Research Program of China (973 program); National High-Tech Research and Development Program of China (863 program); Key Construction Program of National (985 program); National Key Technology Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China; National Natural Science Foundation of China; Program of Modern Agricultural Industrial System Scientists Project et al.

Thesis

19 national invention patents authorized, 3 monographs and more than 100 research papers published, such as Archive of Virology, Plant Biotechnology Journal, Journal of General Virology, Molecular Plant Pathology, Journal of Experimental Botany, Scientific Reports, New Phytologist etc.

Main Awards

One of China National Top Ten Science and Technology Achievement Award; one first prize award of China National Science and Technology; three second prize awards of China National Science and Technology;  three first  prize awards of Science and Technology of Chinese Ministry of Agriculture; five first prize awards of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province.
