He obtained doctoral degree from South China University of Technology in July 1999. He has successively carried out research on cloning and functional identification of soybean cyst nematode-resistant genes in universities or institutes in Germany, Japan, France and the United States, where Large-scale mutagenic population development and mutation breeding of soybean were studied and two soybean cyst nematode resistance genes (Rhg4 and rhg1-a.) were cloned and identified. |
